Dawn and her maternity pictures!!

Well, here they are.  I did these the same way that I approach everything else with my work.  I wanted something natural and in Black and White to portray the feeling and emotion that we are feeling.  I think color can be too playful sometimes and doesn't do the images justice.  I actually didn't even want to do them at first, I was scared.  This is my child, I don't want to screw up.  I didn't want to let Dawn down.  She is my everything, she's my Paris...

FYM!!

Last weekend we shot Therese and Dean's wedding. Therese is from Chicago but she came all the way down to Georgia at Gin Creek in Moultrie to get married. It was such an awesome day and I got to share it with my friends Jonathan and Kevin. I even got to make new friends with the wedding party and hopefully they'll keep in touch. I hope that Therese and Dean have a great time at their reception in Chicago this weekend and I am so sorry that I couldn't be there with you guys!

Therese got her bridesmaids these Tomshoes. Awesome idea really. For every pair that you buy, Toms will give a pair to a child in need!

Jonathan's shot of Therese getting ready, awesome!

Christy, I hope I spelled that right.

Therese is a big polaroid fan, we are like soulmates!! I wonder if Connie is reading this!

Showing off the shoes.

The Dads.

Dean's Dad

There are so many things that I could write for this, I just don't have the time. What can you come up with?

Jonathan does a lot of complaining throughout the day, I think he's had his fill of Napoleon stories!!
Here's Kevin who wanted to see what a normal day is like for me. Like that exists, so I brought him along and put him to work.
He was enamored with the bouquets!
Therese let me use her polaroid camera, I wanted to take it with me!! I'd love to shoot a whole wedding with one of these.

COOL!

The girls right before the ceremony

I love this shot of her. She had a wonderful time even though she looks sad here.

Here's Megan from Gin Creek. She's an absolute blast. I wanted to post some of Kelli but I was threatened with my life. Can't shoot her wedding if I'm dead!

On her way to the ceremony

This is so cool.

Something about the guys and flowers that day. Dean, you look so pretty!
Mmm...yeah, another make up your own quote
AWESOME!!! Thanks so much guys!

Grilled Cheese and a Good Friend!

I did something the other day that I have never done before, I made a grilled cheese sandwich.  I had just watched an episode of Bobby Flay's Throwdown about grilled cheese sandwiches and I guess I was inspired.  Dawn even had me make one for her the next day for lunch.
Tonight I had a really good friend stop by  that I haven't seen since I was in college.  Kevin has been touring with the Sesame Street Live show for the last 6 years!!  He wants to see what one of our wedding is like, so I think I will take him to our next one!  It was really awesome to see him again.

Julia and AJ - October 4th

Last weekend we shot Julia and AJ's wedding. We had a great time. It was at a beautiful little country church near an awesome cotton field! I was able to talk them into going their for some shots, thanks guys!! I really do appreciate it.

Here's Julia and her grandmother.

Now the many expressions of Julia:

AJ just kickin' back
This is Jessica, she's been in quite a few weddings that I've shot. Even one of my very first and yet strangely, she still likes me. Haha

Julia had a great time, I think.
Eddie was such a big help. He was Julia's coordinator.
The romance was everywhere, even Julia's Mom and Daddy Bob got into it.
The only casualty of the day!
And the quick CPR that was performed.
Wow!
Very cool, just hanging in the fields

I stopped her on the way back to the church for this one!

Hanging right before the ceremony
Jonathan was always sitting down. How lazy!

Jonathan pulled a muscle hanging out the window getting this shot, totally worth it.
One of the highlights of my night, GUMMYBEARS!!
Julia dancing with her Dad. Love the light!
Jonathan got this shot with Julia and Daddy Bob

Dancing with Daddy Bob

Playing with the fireworks
The Covington's crew just hanging around.
Jonathan got this shot of me doing the chair walk across the reception, I swear it's the easiest way to get around!!
Thanks again to Jonathan for helping me out. I couldn't be doing this without you right now.
