What inspires you?

I think that we should all try and find what inspires us, what gives life meaning.  Sometimes you'll be surprised, I know I was.

Joanna and Josh's engagement session!

Here is another engagement session that we just did with Joanna and Josh.  Actually Cade was at the doctor, very sick but Joanna and Josh were very nice to me during the session.   They like the country so I wanted to give them something outside the city so we went on a long drive to the country to an old barn that I knew of and did the session there!!

Rose and Chris' engagement session in Orlando, FL.

So I thought I might fill you in on what we have been up to before the trip to New York.  We headed down to Orlando 2 weeks ago and photographed Rose and Chris' engagement session.  I had a great  time despite the briskness for Florida, the next day it was in the high 80's.  I can't wait to rock their wedding in March in Orlando!!  Thanks for all the walking you guys did for me that day.

All of us here at the office absolutely LOVE this one!!

And the blizzard started this afternoon...

during my engagement session, but afterwards, we still found time to go out and play in the snow a bit.  Cade wasn't that crazy about it though, so we weren't out very long.

I did manage to nab this awesome shot of my sexy wife!!  She is so beautiful.

Michael and Grace live in Columbia, CT and had been together for 5 years when they were married. They decided to have a destination wedding to celebrate thier nuptials. Although beach/island destination weddings are quite popular, they chose to do a European castle wedding  and chose Chateau de Challain for our location in France.
Grace stated that, “No other place looked as beautiful, as romantic, as grand and fairytale-like. We eased the burden of travel for our guests by renting the whole Chateau for the entire week so that accommodations were taken care of by us if our guests were able to find airfare. Spending a week at the Chateau was like a dream and our actual wedding day at the Chateau was beyond anything we could have asked for. It was a memory of a lifetime. She arranged for hair, makeup, flowers, DJ, waitstaff, chef, etc. The food was prepared by her house chef and it was spectacular! It was some of the best dishes we have ever tasted.”

Last but definitely not least, Cynthia also connected us with her good friend Javon Longieliere to photograph our wedding. We felt that this particular choice was one of the most important because our photographs will last us the rest of our lives while everything else will be a faded memory. Javon was spectacular to work with! He started shooting from the morning and kept taking photos until late into the night. He also let us do a fabulous photo shoot on a motorcycle that we rented both during the day and at night so we could have something special and unique. The photos that Javon took really captured the enjoyment and laughter that we all shared during that time that we will treasure them forever. He was even sweet enough to make one of our photos his homepage!
We will always treasure our special wedding week thanks to everyone that was involved. All of our guests, family and friends, who attended our wedding truly felt that the experience we shared together was a like a fairy-tale dream.

Chrissy and Brandon's engagement session!!

These are a few images from the engagement session that we shot for Chrissy and Brandon on our way back from Miami at the beginning of the month.  I thought I would be too exhausted to do this but I had a wonderful time.  We had to work as fast as we could to try and beat the sun, but ultimately we did end up shooting in the dark.

This is one of my favorites!
