Jessica and Victor

So we're approaching the end of wedding season, we're tired, traveled out, our suitcases are on strike and are cameras are threatening a coup d'etat! At this point we are so glad that we have a couple of open weekends coming up so that we can rest before our winter wedding season starts. I love winter wedding season, it is so laid back and relaxed. Anyway, when we get to this part of the season I always worry that I am going to be so tired that I won't be able to come up with anything that will rock. Somehow or another we still managed to hit a home run with this one. Coming away from a late season wedding with images like we got from Jessica and Victor's wedding inspires one to finish the race!

Jessica and Victor got married in quaint south Georgia town of Moultrie. We piled them into the Caddy and hit the downtown area. It was so hot but worth it, I felt so bad that we were all sweating that I stopped on the way back and got the a drink, or at least I think I did, Victor and I kept going back and forth on who was paying! Oh well, great pictures. The art is always worth the trouble!

I love this image for some reason or another.
The guys!
The girls! Wow!
Again another image that just does something for me.
Love it!

Steps leading to nowhere.

A mexican restaurant that we stopped at, I think we made the owner nervous. I think he kept driving by while we were there.

Not much I can say about this except just ...I don't even know what to say.

The Tuesday "Craig" update!

Ok so here's the story. This was our second wedding in Tennessee in 2 weeks! I found out that Craig is an avid blog reader. Every Tuesday his computer reminds him to check his sisters' blog and ours! This was a lot of fun. We were pretty darn tired being that we had shot a wedding the day before, but this was so laid back and relaxed it was really nice.

I really enjoyed working with Ginny and Craig. I hate that we never were able to work it out ahead of time to get together but I hope that will change in the future. I hope they enjoyed working with us as much as we enjoyed them.

Cheesin' for the camera. Hmm, can't believe I actually said cheesin'.

Sarah and Paul, what can I say...

...geez, what can I say. I had a great time that day and what a couple to photograph! Sarah and Paul got married at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, GA. I absolutely love this place, there are so many opportunities to create beautiful photographs. Sometimes the obvious ones and also the not-so-obvious ones. Haha! You will be seeing these two again. You see, Sarah and Paul met because of their love of horses and when they move back to Atlanta from New York they are going to do some more pictures with horses!!! I can't wait, I'm so freakin' excited.

Anyway, without any more further ado, here is a sneak peek of Sarah and Paul...

Sarah at the salon!

Here we go...

I still love cheese!!

Check out this Ceremony venue! It was beautiful with the evening light coming in.

Another overall shot of the ceremony.

Here they come, what a couple!

The sisters dancing to a song about sisters!

Leaving the party

A quick shot of Sarah rigt before the ceremony.

This one I really like. With all the gorgeous places there are at Primrose Cottage, I picked this stairway. But oh man, what a shot!!!

What a hottie!

Sarah and Paul in a tub!

Guys, I had a blast photographing the 2 of you. I can't wait to get started on the other set of images that we are going to do. Hope you had a great time on your honeymoon!

I was watching our presentation slideshow with a prospective Bride and Groom and her Mom today, when something hit me. I love what I am doing! I mean, I always knew that but it really hit me today. I was watching the images from some of those weddings and I could almost relive them in my mind. Sounds stupid I guess.

I felt like when I got out of school. I would really miss those times and sometimes I still can almost see us outside our high school, John sitting on the hood of his car and me beside it talking about how much I loved Dawn and why she didn't feel the same way. I tell you that John deserves a medal for all those talks.

I guess my point is that I really enjoy weddings. Maybe it has become my new High School. I love getting to meet all the people. I love being honored to spend the most important moment in a couple's new life together. I really love walking away from a wedding with a bunch of new friends. Oddly, I love the empty feeling you get when you leave them or you know you won't be around them for a while. It really makes me feel alive.

Michele and Harry in Townsend, TN!!

I am really trying to get caught up. On August 26th, Harry married Michele in Townsend, TN at Heritage Park. We actually got to stay in cabins that she rented for us. We had digital cable, which made all of us very happy. Sorry all you outdoorspeople out there, we are just not outdoor people. We had so much fun, but running up and down the hill almost killed me.

A couple overall shots of the ceremony with the Smoky Mountainsin the background.

A few shots of the reception.

What can I say to do these justice?!

We had such a great time. Thanks you guys!

About the image on the home page...

This is a memorial on the side of a Fire Station that is right beside The World Trade Center. It is dedicated to those that fell during 9/11. This station would have to have been one of the first to respond to the attacks on that fateful day. Dawn and I went to New York in July and that is when we took this picture.

God bless all that fell and give strength to those that were left behind.

Maureen and Kyle

We met up with Maureen at Kyle's townehouse that morning or afternoon. Sad, isn't it that I can't remember. It was a long day, but it was a lot of fun! From the townehouse, we left and went to Cathedral of Christ the King, which is a gorgeous church in Buckhead!

This was Maureen and her Dad walking down the aisle.

I always want to be accepted. I wanted a shot with all the gorgeous girls. Sadly, my giant head covered up Maureen. Then we went from the church to The Villa Christina. This was a beautiful place to play around at. So here you go, Maureen and Kyle playing around.

Maureen in all her glory.

Very cool, very laid back! I am still not sure what he was doing here.

...together again!

First dance.

Of course, Maureen playing the air guitar! She's so cool!!
