BE CAUTIOUS, I'M NAUSEOUS!!

I forgot that David and Whitney knew where the studio was, so at 5:30 Kristen calls and say they are already there. Nander and I throw everything in the car and speed off to get there. According to Nander, I was driving a little on the precarious side. With her face pinned to the window she screams, "Drive cautious, I'm nauseous!".

Song that makes me happy

I wanna live a life like that
I wanna be just like a king
Take my picture by the pool

After getting back into the swing of things here at the office, I have been able to get close to getting caught up. Now I can start to post sessions and weddings again! Let me introduce Courtney and Dave. These guys fit us so well, not just because of what they want from their wedding but in personality as well. I hope they get to read this, because I am uber excited to get to their wedding in October!! Thanks for being such a freaking blast to shoot, I can't wait to do it again.

I love getting other people involved as well

Very interesting

GET BACK IN THE OFFICE!!!

After working for over 7 hours, most of it by herself, Amanda tried to escape. We were working late tonight trying to get ready for our 2nd attempt at a bridal show this year and she was making DVD's all day. This picture was taken around 11:30 P.M.. "There's no sleeping in photography!!!!" We did let her go home after this but I tried to drag her back in the office. Nander is going to kill me for posting this but I couldn't resist. This would have been a good segment for our reality show! Haha.

WE'RE HOME!!!

Dawn waiting at the shuttle stop for our shuttle to our car.
We were able to get out yesterday and made it back to the airport around 3PM. John and Heather and the girls met us for a quick bite to eat at Chick-fil-A as a warm welcome commitee and then it was off to work on our bridal show display. It's good to be home again! We were so happy to see Tiger, he hasn't strayed far from us since we got here. Amanda says that he cried while we were gone.

We like Texas so much we thought we'd stay.

Our flight was supposed to have taken off 3 1/2 hours ago but it was cancelled. We were told that we might not get out of here until Friday so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

We booked new flights with Southwest this morning and hit the streets with Chris from ReedyPhoto. Check out this cactus at the Alamo. More pics to come...

URGENT!! PLEASE READ!!

Due to our hectic wedding schedule in the month of May, we are no longer accepting portrait sessions of any kind for that month. Please take this into consideration when planning your portrait sessions. We are really sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

All-expenses paid trip to Texas!

After Lauren's wedding this Saturday, Dawn and I are leaving to catch a flight to San Antonio, TX where we will be promoting our fantastic lab Reedy Photo. Since we will be out of the office, we will be checking our e-mail profusely and returning phone calls when we can. This looks like it is going to be a very busy year for us and this weekend starts it all!!

I CAN'T TALK, I'M EATING CEREAL!!!!!!!!!

This is what my workstation usually looks like in the morning. About the time that I sit down with my cereal, the phone will ring. Almost never fails! I hate soggy cereal. We should remember that CEREAL TIME is an important time of self-reflection and crunchy goodness.

Into every life...

...a bridal show must go horribly wrong! This was our setup at yesterday's bridal show at the Cobb Galleria. It was fantastic in our minds but not quite so when we had it sitting in front of us. Oh well. Our response was good but not what we had hoped for. We have so many images that would stop people in their tracks and this was unable to show them off. Sometimes we need these little setbacks to take a major step forward.

So after quite a bit of money spent, we scrapped the whole thing. We have another bridal show on the 20th and we are redesigning from the ground up! Keep your fingers crossed that we are done in time!!

I am still working on getting caught up. This is Stacy and Jed's wedding at St. Simon's island. We had such a great time. It had been a while since we had gotten to be on the road and I needed to get out of the office. They got married at this cute little chapel on the island and then had the reception at the King and Prince Hotel. We met Stacy and Jed at Amy Peace's wedding in July. They are so much fun and they didn't dissappoint at the wedding.

The Cameo belonged to Stacy's grandmother
This guy showed up with a bagpipe and a kilt.

This little guy stole the show.
I just loved this picture
Jed looking quite relaxed before the wedding
Cool
You get a picture that stops you in your tracks every now and then. This one did it as soon as we took it.

The whole wedding will be online now, check it out!!
