Kristi and Jeff's Engagement

Well, here it is almost 2 in the morning and I am trying to get caught up on my blogging. I am going to have make this short, I need sleep. I had to move Jeff and Kristi's session up because I thought it was going to rain and I wanted to make sure that we got them in. As it turned out, it did start to rain a bit right as the session was ending. Anyway, I had a good time and I let them come over afterwards and take a peek at what we did and so they could meet Dawn.

"Is that a telephoto lens in your pocket or are you a professional photographer?" Elizabeth and "Hot Muffin" Chandler's Wedding - June 2

On June 2, the 1st day of Hurricane season, low and behold we had a wedding crasher at Elizabeth and Chandler's wedding in Jekyl Island at the Beachview Club, Tropical storm Barry. It was one hell of a ride and one hell of a wedding. We are so happy to have Elizabeth and Chandler as our friends and I hope that we will get to spend more time with them in the future. We had a great time and thanks for being so cool about getting wet, you guys!

Driving rain and 40 mph winds.
It was raining pretty hard.

It was windy during the ceremony.
Shielding her from the driving rain.
During the reception, the power went out to the entire island. This was lit from our videographers light and a bug light that the DJ brought! AWESOME!
All the guys and gals.
We crashed the only dry place that we could think of, The Jekyl Island Hotel. It was here that I was asked if I was a professional photographer by some psycho lady from the backwoods. She apparently didn't think that I was dressed like a photographer. I did forget to wear my big blinking sign that says "Professional at Work". Didn't think the electricity would react well with the rain!
This reminds me of Miami Vice for some reaon, guess it's the palm trees and the sunglasses which I believe Elizabeth gave him before the wedding.
We went to Driftwood Beach during a break in the rain. There was a beautiful rainbow there, too.

Then it started to rain again. Oh well, so what, we kept going anyway.
If you look closely, you can see the raindrops!
Ah, the main theme behind the wedding.

We've had a spinoff!! We're a hit!!

In honor of our recent spinoff blog, I thought that I would post some more imagfes of Erin and Megan from Easter. I haven't gotten to shoot them since then, they are getting a bit of a Diva complex! Always needing cheese and juice at their disposal and their own personal servant. They chose Dawn for that task. For what it's worth, they were perfect for the secretary job, but they wanted soooo much money and then perks on top of that. I just wasn't sure I could afford that. I sure do hope they let me keep taking pictures of them.

Check out their new blog! We now have a link to it on our blog to the right.

Whirlwind Wedding Weekend part 3 - Emily and Zach's wedding May 28 part 1

Zach and Emily got married in Cocoa Beach in the morning, I do mean the morning. It was at 7A.M.!! A beautiful sunrise wedding. It has been such an amazing experience to work with Emily and Zach. I got to shoot his sister's wedding in '05 and I had a wonderful time at that one too. Thank you, thank you to Emily and Zach. You gave so much of your time and effort to me that day to help make your pictures phenomenal, I appreciate it. Thank you for helping my art!
