Michele is a trip!

I promised her I would do this a few days ago. I am such a bad friend. This was such a fun session, I can only imagine how much fun we are going to have for the wedding!!

A quick shot of the back of her dress.
This was almost as much fun getting her in this position as it was taking the picture!
I love her daughter!
For the GRAND FINALE - THE SPRINKLERS!!!!!!!

We will be heading to Townsend, TN for Michele's wedding to Harry! It's going to be a good time! We are still talking about the sprinklers to people. In fact, I was so excited about it, I kept showing everyone that came by the office the pictures.

Blogging in Honey Baked Ham about Katie and Chris

So there has been a lot going on today which I will discuss later. I needed a break so now that I have a super laptop I can get away from the office and go work somewhere else. That is what I have been doing.

Last week, we shot Katie and Chris' engagements in downtown Atlanta. It was a lot of fun, but Katie was a little nervous. It was the first time I had ever met Chris so I was a little nervous, too! Their wedding is right around the corner on September 30 and we are really looking forward to it!

As we are getting started

Hanging out in an unnamed coffee shop!

Playing by a fountain, what you can't see is all the crap that was floating in it.

At the Ritz-Carlton downtown, avoiding the freakin heat! Can't wait for the wedding, you guys!

Amy and TJ

Another long period of not having any posts. We have been on the road for almost an entire month and there have been places we have been able to post from and there were places where we couldn't, but we are back, at least until the end of August when we will be back on the road again.

Here is Amy Peace, we shot her sister Amy's wedding in '04. I had been looking forward to this ever since I met her when she came to talk to us about her sister's wedding. I was so excited when we finally got the call from her saying that she was getting married, the next words out of her mouth, "When are you open?"!!! I love this family!

I could have turned this into an all - Amy post, but I didn't want to hurt TJ's feelings.

Here we are playing with one of our new toys! I love this thing. I finally went out and bought a video light.

TJ's reaction when he saw Amy for the first time.
Just fun and relaxed. No stiff poses or fake smiles. Just the way I like it!Playing around with Amy right before the ceremony.
The flower girl was playing with her flowers during the ceremony, wasn't she cute? Bride's bouquet on the bar.

On the golf course at sunset!

In St. Augustine with Emily and Zach

Last week I went down to St. Augustine Fl. with Emily and Zach for a sunrise session. I was real freakin' tired but it was worth it. I love destination sessions because it gives you a chance to get out and go somewhere and have a blast doing it! We had a great time, except for the flying bugs that kept biting Emily.

Here we are at Sunrise

What do you get when you combine a beautiful island with the Westin, a tornado, the sand, 2 great families and a wonderful couple?

A freakin' cool wedding!!

Well folks, here they are.

Your very own...sneak peak!!

A shot from the rehearsal

Amy and Bella

Craig and the guys!

Craig with a very curious look on his face...hmm

Amy was gorgeous, even in the sweltering heat

On any given day in the tropics you can bet that you will get some rain. During the ceremony, we got a tornado in the water. I'm guessin' that's a good luck sign!

Craig and his brother pointing at the tornado

Amy's mom seeing the twister for the first time, note the surprised look on her face!

During the ceremony, what you can't see at this point is that I am waist deep in the water. It was so worth it!

They were so happy! I love when they are so into each other it just makes everything so cool!

Right then, at that moment, they are the only people in the world that matter.

Thank you Amy and Craig, our new friends, for giving us the chance to share your day with you. I know that sounds corny but I don't care, I mean that. We love you guys.

Hi again from Freeport, Grand Bahamas! Well the wedding was a blast yesterday and we will be posting some images from it soon, but first we wanted to show you some images from our time here. We have been having a blast and are kind of sad to get back to the states. Even Dawn said that she was trying to get herself in the mood to go home.
Our flight leaves tomorrow and we will fly into the Miami for an 8 hour layover and then on to Jacksonville. All on those damn puddlejumpers.

NOW FOR THE PICS!!

The view from our hotel room at Our Lucaya.

Dawn checking out the Market Place across from the Westin.

Dawn and all the pretty colors. I am not sure why, I just liked this place. I'm just weird.

I love the colors that are everywhere.

A scene from the Market Place across from the Westin.

A subliminal message from Dawn's mom on a payphone!!

Dawn and I had a late breakfast today at a restaurant called Zorba's. Normally, we always have a late breakfast on Sunday as we spend the night before hanging out with the bride and groom at the reception. 2 eggs and some toast and we were off to bump into Amy's mom, Jorge, Ashley, Bella and Miguel!

Here's Dawn

And me! Oh, yeah, there was some really greasy bacon, yuk! I can't believe I wrote yuk. Who says that anymore?

We met up with Wendy later to head to a place where she says she usually follows someone else to. Of course we didn't know that until we were in the car with her. Here she is with the map. "The road ends here on this map!"

This is where we were going, just gorgeous! We got there at low tide, which was planned. We actually were able to walk out in the water a long way and the water only got up to our chests. They filmed Pirates of the Carribean around here, in fact the cast stayed at the Westin.

Here's Sophia, Wendy's 4-year old on Sophia's Island. We named it after her since she was the only one on it at the time.

Here's Dawn in the water having a good time. She is so beautiful in that bikini! Or in anything else that she wears.

A first!!!! Wendy offered to use our camera to take a picture of us. The only pics of us that we get are the ones where we hold the camera ourselves.

Will be posting some pics from Amy and Craig's wedding next, but for now I need to get some sleep so I don't miss our flight tomorrow.

Freeport, Bahamas

Well we made it to Freeport last night. We had to fly from Jacksonville to Miami. BUT!!, there was bad weather in Miami so we had to circle around for 20 minutes. Dawn and I were playing Harry Potter UNO. I think she cheats, she wins too much. Then we had a 2 1/2 hour layover in Miami before we flew out for our 30 minute flight to Freeport.
Now we are sitting in our room watching Wimbledon. Federer won again. Big freakin' deal. On a happier note, we get to meet our bride and groom, Amy and Craig today. Their reception is tonight with the wedding following tomorrow. I hope the weather holds out. I think at some point we are going to get together with our friend Wendy. She works for the magazine Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and lives here in Freeport. Talk to everyone real soon!

We were about to get on the plane when I looked out the window and saw this. I hate puddle jumpers! Both of our flights were on these stupid things.
Dawn is chatting it up with one of our fellow passengers.
