So I opened up this e-mail and ....

... like wow. I have been meaning to post ever since I shot Kristen and Tim's wedding. I had such a blast, I didn't want it to end. Amanda came with us to this one and she was such a huge help. She didn't break anything or attack any groomsmen, not like that other time. :-) This was an e-mail from Kristen's Mom and Dad. It is interesting to note that this is the second time I have been told that someone acted me out during a game. I feel like a rock star, of course people act out Pee-Wee Herman, too, and I am not sure I want to be in that category.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

Brunch or lunch at The Swan Coach House. Very Cool!

The Three Stooges!!! I love these guys. The one on the right is Donna, Kristen's Mom! I think she loves me.

Julie Graybill of Formal Faces did the make-up. She was so sweet, she even put up with all my stupid jokes. Their company is all on-site, so you don't have to go to them, they will come to you, which is great on the wedding day.

A real tender moment between Kristen and her Dad.

More tender moments from John, Kristen's Dad. Yes, that is his real nose! He was trying to loosen up Kristen. This is before she sees it...

...she's seen it...

...and after.

The boys and girls...

Didn't want to leave out the columns, Donna...

Now for your viewing pleasure(sorry, saw Chicago in NYC and it must be sticking with me), Kristen and Tim!

Reception was at The Buckhead Club. Great views of the city! Although at this point it was dark and stormy.
One more, then I have to go get ready for the Bahamas.
Thanks again for a wonderful time!

Published again in The Knot!

2 days ago I got an e-mail from Rebecca Crumley at The Knot. She wanted to know if we had any weddings that were coastal that she could look at to see if they could put it in the upcoming issue of The Knot. I let her look at MaryBeth and Jeremy's wedding that we shot last year at Tybee Island in Savannah, GA. Yesterday we get this e-mail saying that she is going to use it. Congratulations MaryBeth and Jeremy!

Andre Agassi wins in the first round at Wimbledon!!!!

copyright Reuters

After announcing his retirement right before Wimbledon started, I was seriously disappointed. After the US Open at the end of the summer Agassi will be hanging up his racket after 20-something years on the pro tour. We really are losing one of the greatest American ambassadors of Tennis.
Today in the first round, he got off to a shaky start to Boris Pashanski when he lost the first set, but came back in true form to take the next three to win the match! Keep going, Andre!

Heidi and Clint

6/17/06-Heidi and Clint got married at a beautiful wedding in Sparks, GA. One of our last in South Georgia for a while. I know that they are patiently waiting for me to get done with their pictures, I hope this teaser will suffice for now. :)

Clint and his Dad in a quiet moment right before the ceremony. I was floored when I found out that Clint had been working on the farm that very morning. That boy won't stop for anything! You gotta admire that work ethic.

Here's Heidi! Peeking in on that moment.

Showing off her stylin' shoes!!
One of the dangers in having a second shooter is ending up on camera yourself. Kristen took this one while I was trying to save Clint from Heidi's vicious veil.
We loved this cute take off of Farmer in the Dell. At least I think that is what that song is called.

Donuts in the Lenox parking lot...(Random thought)

This was so bizarre. Tonight, I was waiting on Farnaz in the Lenox Mall parking lot. I was there to drop off her proof album and flood her with compliments. By the way, Farnaz, I loved your brand new BMW!

Anyway, I wanted to make sure Farnaz knew which car was mine, so I was doing donuts(driving around in tight circles) in the parking lot so she would see me. Security man drove by me, nothing. BUT!, when I stopped and Farnaz and I were talking, he came up to us then and told us we couldn't be there. Hmm...why was I not suspicious when I was driving around and around in circles, but when I stopped, then I must have been up to something.

Shahab, we miss you and we hope you feel better. Looking forward to dinner on Friday!

Engagement session in Ocala, FL

I shot an engagement session in Ocala, Fl yesterday with Allison Pangborn and Dean Oliver. They are getting married on July 14 this year at the Ocala Word of Faith Church. I had a great time, Allison has such a sweet sense about her and she giggles at everything. These two floor me and I can't wait to shoot their wedding.

We talked about coming back here on the wedding day after the sun goes down. I love shooting at night!

Kacie and Matt

We started the day at Kinderlou for a bridesmaids luncheon. I love being able to be there for these events. It was such an important part of the day for Kacie and I was glad to catch up with friends at the same time. It has been so cool to have gotten to be friends with these girls over the last 3 years! I think of each of them as my friend and would do anything for them if they needed it.

The gang!

I surprised Kacie at Anthony and Co. Salon. I love her, she is such a goofball, which in my opinion is a wonderful trait!

Matt is also a really good friend. He is the brother of Kelly, our friend who got married on April 1. Gee, can you tell Kacie and Matt were made for each other.

Kacie is just absolutely stunning in both her personality and looks!

A quick silly moment after the ceremony. We were trying as hard as we could to get to the party!

What is on Matt's mind?

Kacie's cake was so cool! This pic just goes to show you what a little help from the videographer can do for your pictures. We used the light from his video camera to light the cake. Cha-ching, the check is in the mail Daniel!

Daniel has got to be one of the most talented videographers that I have ever met. He is also very passionate about what he does. He partied with us until about 11:30, then got up the next morning at 4A.M.!!!! to film his hunting show that he produces. Check out his website at http://www.fulldrawproductions.com.

Thanks for all the laughs these last 2 weeks! As we head back out on the road for the next few months, we are gong to miss you.

TEAM ___________ FOREVER! I still want to do that video!

Brief absence!

Sorry for the inactivity lately, we have had a lot going on. I know, I know, I say that all the time, but this time I am telling the truth! We are going to get back on track with this thing now, but unfortunately to do that we will have to fast forward to the present day. I am going to start posting the day that I do the sessions so that I can give everyone a sneak peek into what we just did. I apologize to my girls that I have unintentionally left out b/c of this.

Peace, love, happiness and all that other stuff!

Hillary and Jason Cannon!

Got to give a shout out to Hillary's mom's(Nelda) florist shop Celebrations. If you are in Florida and need a florist give them a call! Our friends Hillary and Jason got married at her parents house in Live Oak, FL on April 29. Gorgeous ceremony, lots of wind, no rain and one gimpy photographer, totally awesome day!

Dad's so cute with his wittle pretty bouquet!

The reception

Normally I don't say whether we think that a Bride and Groom should see each other beforehand, however these are the kind of images that you can get when you do. Otherwise, you may only have minutes after the ceremony to get b&g pics. I hate taking more than 30 minutes after the ceremony, after all your guests are there to see you.
I keep thinking "I'm a little teapot"

I love shooting at night and this was such a beautiful backdrop. Thanks again guys for letting me play during your party!

Traci and Jarrett Haswell

I'm catching up I swear!

This is the first time Jarrett saw Traci! That is his family's old Mercury behind her. I didn't realize it was even in the shot until later, how cool is that!

Very nice, but small church in Tifton where the ceremony was held.

Tada! Traci and Jarrett!!

Leaving the ceremony!

I love CHEESE!!!!!

The reception was at Jarrett's mom's house by a lake!

Happy Birthday to Dawn

My sweetie turned 28 on May 22. We went to Mori's, a japanese steak house with Mike and Holly (best friends and bride and groom from '04). I tried to talk Dawn into seeing the Davinci Code but as you can see I am typing this and she is asleep in our bedroom. Dawn and I are going to celebrate her birthday next Monday when she is better rested.

2 pictures I took when we went to Piedmont Park. It had been a while since I had gotten to photograph her.

This one is a bit more serious. She is so beautiful!

Growing pains

For those of you out there in internet land, you have probably noticed that it has been a while since we posted anything. I TOLD YOU! We have been experiencing some tremendous growing pains. I want to thank everyone that has been affected by this these last few months. In our wildest dreams, we never would have expected to have gotten this busy this quickly.

To try and help we have brought in a new girl, Amanda, to alleviate some of the stress that Dawn and I were going through. We plan on making her do all the stuff that we don't like doing! :)

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding and we should be pretty much back to normal soon. Wahoo!!!!!

Lacey, if you are reading this, your album is designed and ready to be proofed, call us, we miss you and Matt!

Melissa and Jason

This was the day after the tornadoes in Roswell. It was nasty weather in Macon but it cleared up, sadly it was too wet to go playing around the church! Melissa and Jason are great, really funny people. I think Jason and I could get into a lot of trouble together. I will always remember the candleman and his moronic bike riding cousin. Hahahaha!
